New York, NY, February 26, 2025 – Fast Company, the only media brand fully dedicated to the vital intersection of business, innovation, and design, today announced the first season of the Brand New World podcast. Premiering February 26 and hosted by senior staff editor Jeff Beer, the limited series taps marketing and advertising industry leaders leveraging AI to separate the hype from reality, to unpack how agencies and brands are using AI for scale, efficiency, personalization, and creativity, and the impact on culture.
The seven-episode series will feature longform interviews with the executives shaping the industry from David Droga, CEO, Accenture Song; Zena Arnold, Sephora CMO; Vlad Kuznetsov, Sephora CIO; Pratik Thakar, Vice President & Global Head of Gen AI, Coca-Cola; and Lorraine Twohill, CMO, Google.
"GenAI is already embedded in how brands, advertisers, and marketers are getting our attention, what they know about us, and how they use it," says Beer. "This moment has been called the dawn of the intelligence age, a technological shift unlike anything we've seen since the internet itself. I want to find out what that means for us right now, and where it all may be headed.”
If brands are the connective tissue between business and culture, this podcast will seek to answer how AI will impact the ways in which they build meaningful–and profitable–connections with audiences. How are industry leaders not only using this technology today, but thinking about how it can, will, and should be used tomorrow? Brand New World is not only a snapshot of this moment in time, but an evergreen look at the AI philosophies, strategies, and work that will shape the future of brands.
New episodes are available every Wednesday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
