Agrovision, the healthy superfruit platform and leading large-scale, fully vertically integrated superfruit business, is today announcing the appointment of Fadi Karam as Global Chief Marketing Officer. With over two decades of experience in shaping globally renowned brands, Karam will play a pivotal role in accelerating Agrovision’s mission to deliver premium superfruit experiences to consumers worldwide.
Karam joins Agrovision after a distinguished career at Nestlé, where he held global leadership roles. At Nestlé Waters North America, Karam led the local brand portfolio, overseeing more than $3 billion in annual revenue. Previously, based at Nestlé’s global headquarters in Switzerland, he conceived and executed a global relaunch of the KitKat brand in more than 75 countries and redefined the worldwide product innovation pipeline. Additionally, Karam oversaw Nestlé's confectionery strategy for Asia and Africa, and led the development of the Wafer technology platform.
In addition to his roles at Nestlé, Karam has helped several small and medium-sized consumer companies scale their operations. Since 2014, he has served as a Mentor at StartX, a startup accelerator and fellowship program for over 2,500 Stanford University founders, and as an advisor to leading private equity funds and family offices.
Steve Magami, Co-founder and CEO of Agrovision, stated, “Fadi brings truly unparalleled global expertise in building iconic brands and driving market expansion across multiple continents, categories, and stages of growth. His extensive experience will be instrumental in continuing to fuel our global growth both within and beyond the berry segment.”
In his new role, Karam will lead the strategic growth of Agrovision’s superfruit business focusing on scaling global market reach. His experience will be valuable in capitalizing on Agrovision’s recent $100 million growth equity financing and meeting the growing consumer demand for healthy, high-quality superfruits year-round.
“I’m thrilled to join Agrovision at such an exciting time of growth,” Karam said. “The company’s commitment to being a trailblazer in superfruit experiences aligns perfectly with my passion for building impactful brands that truly transform consumers' lives. The growth potential of the business here is immense.”
