The Alliance for Audited Media is the first industry organization to join the Compliance Registry.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (June 1, 2021) -- The Alliance for Audited Media (AAM) is partnering with the IAB Tech Lab to integrate audited digital publishers into the IAB Tech Lab’s Compliance Registry, a free online resource that lists companies that have successfully completed select industry compliance programs. All AAM-audited domains that have completed the AAM Digital Publisher Audit are now included in the registry under the "Other Industry Compliance" tab.
“We are proud to partner with the IAB Tech Lab to integrate our list of audited digital publishers into the compliance registry,” said AAM’s Tom Drouillard, CEO, president and managing director. “This single source of industry information gives publishers greater exposure to advertisers and media buyers searching the registry to find quality media partners.”
The IAB Tech Lab Compliance Registry provides advertisers, ad tech vendors and media buyers with a comprehensive, consolidated view of a company’s status for various industry compliance programs to foster greater transparency throughout the digital advertising ecosystem. AAM is the first industry organization to join the Compliance Registry by integrating the recently launched Digital Publisher Audit. AAM-audited digital publishers currently include brands from Meredith Corporation, Trusted Media Brands and American City Business Journals.
“We are always looking for ways to provide our members and the industry as a whole more information about digital advertising participants,” said IAB Tech Lab’s Shailley Singh, acting general manager and SVP, product management. “The inclusion of AAM’s Digital Publisher Audit program information gives the Compliance Registry users a central place to understand which publishers are complying with industry standards.”
The AAM Digital Publisher Audit was launched in late 2020 and includes a comprehensive analysis of publishers’ website traffic and adherence to industry guidelines and best practices. The audit is supported by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) and was developed to differentiate quality publishers, minimize ad fraud, create a more transparent ecosystem and improve outcomes for marketers. Media buyers can use this list of audited digital publishers to create inclusion lists or prioritize audited publishers in Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) and direct buys.
