ATHENA Orlando Women’s Leadership, Inc. Expands Board of Directors
Heather Eubank and Michelle Griffith Take on New Board Positions
ORLANDO – ATHENA Orlando Women’s Leadership, Inc. has expanded its Board of Directors with the addition of two new positions. Heather Eubank joins the Board as Vice President of Events and Michelle Griffith joins as Vice President of Communications Strategy & Social Media. Eubank and Griffith are alumnae of ATHENA’s NextGen Thought Leadership Series and served as co-chairs of ATHENA NextGen’s Fifth Anniversary Celebration in 2018.

Founded in 2012, ATHENA Orlando Women’s Leadership, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) that offers three core programs in Central Florida, including the ATHENA Women’s Leadership Luncheon, ATHENA NextGen Thought Leadership Series and the ATHENA Leadership Award. These initiatives are designed to provide dynamic programing around the ATHENA Leadership Model® and ATHENA’s Eight Leadership Principles: Live Authentically, Learn Constantly, Advocate Fiercely, Act Courageously, Foster Collaboration, Build Relationships, Give Back, and Celebrate.
Heather Eubank, CMP, is the Director of Events at Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. A veteran of the hospitality field, she brings more than two decades of event management experience. In her role, she will advise and oversee overall event operations for ATHENA in Orlando. Among her many accolades, she has been recognized for her contagious team leader spirit resulting in positive guest and hotel goals. She is a participant in Leadership Orlando and active in Women@Hyatt. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, having received a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and a minor in Business Administration.
Michelle Griffith is a Vice President with BoardroomPR, a full-service public relations agency. She will use her 12 years of experience in the public relations arena to support the communications and social media efforts of ATHENA, and work to promote the achievements and milestones of the organization. She previously served as chair of the Legal Marketing Association’s Orlando Local Steering Committee. Griffith earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
ATHENA NextGen is the only professional development program of its kind in Central Florida with the backing of women leaders who have paved the way, and are deeply committed to inspiring and empowering the next generation of women leaders. To date, 265 Central Florida professional women proudly call themselves alumnae of the NextGen program, representing a wide array of companies and organizations that creates a very diverse cohort in our programs.
