Grey had some tough competition from other agencies for this account. BBDO had worked with Pizza Hut and Doner had worked with Domino's and Arby's. Going up against that kind of experience and winning could mean a couple of things: that Grey's proposal was quite impressive and that maybe Papa John's is looking for some fresh perspective.
