- A study from Shareaholic looked at social media traffic referrals for publishers, and Facebook held the No. 1 spot with 10% of overall traffic to publishers.
- Coming in at No. 2 was Pinterest, who drives 3.68% of traffic to publishers. That's more than Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Google+ combined.
- Most of the social networks increased the drive of traffic to publishers websites, except Reddit and Stumbleupon which declined and Google+ which remained stagnant.

Pinterest continues to prove that its a powerhouse in driving traffic. As more marketers realize and tap into its potential, the platform has the capabilities to seriously compete with Facebook. As they roll out promoted pins, we could see even more referral traffic coming from the social site.
