Dive Brief:
- Smartphones now account for 75% of the mobile market, according to recent data from comScore, a digital analytics company.
- That number is up 10% from a year ago, and 73% from a decade ago.
- Apple scored as the most popular device, making up 41% of the market; followed by Samsung, at 29%; LG, at 7%; Motorola, at 5%; and HTC, at 4%.
Dive Insight:

Marketers have been quick to make the transition from the stagnating desktop format to the ever-rising mobile platform.
