- Marketing automation platform Marketo is putting the data and knowledge it has accumulated to use in the educational pursuit, entitled Marketo Institute.
- Jon Miller, co-founder and Marketo Institute vice president, told Venture beat, “marketers aren’t really prepared for that new world [and] classes aren’t teaching marketing in the digital era.”
- The Institute plans to start releasing regular reports for executives, as well as forming partnerships with educational institutions by the first quarter of 2015.
