Dive Brief:
- Home improvement retailer Lowe's may be the first brand to join new social search and Q&A app Jelly, which just launched last week.
- In a recap blog, Jelly posted screen shots of various questions being answered and included one of the Lowe's brand offering advice to a user on how to mount art on an exposed brick wall.
- Lowe's has been an early adopter of other social apps like Twitter's 6-second video app, Vine.
Dive Insight:
As of yet, Jelly doesn't have profiles for users that show what questions they have asked or answered, so it's not possible to know for sure if Lowe's is the first brand to embrace the app. The brand is certainly one of the pioneers on the week-old app and will be a good case study to see if the app holds value for any others that are curious.
