Dive Insight:
Mobile marketers buying interstitial in-app ads have two new design options from Google. The new ad designs will be available on AdMob via AdWords and through the DoubleClick Ad Exchange. And the text ads are designed to be easier to read with a larger headline and copy moved up on the screen, as well as a round call-to-action button instead of the previous rectangular version. Plus, the new ad versions came out of Google testing in ten different design options.
Other recent Google AdWords news includes the introduction of a new AdWords Report Editor that gives users access to account data in new ways within a browser. Features of Report Editor will allow marketers to: explore their data with simple drag and drop actions; sort, filter and pivot their data to focus on the slices of information they need; visualize their data in pie, bar, or line charts to reveal powerful insights; apply multiple segmentations to analyze their data with finer granularity.
