Name: Nathan Louer
New title: Chief brand officer, Jamba
Previous title: VP of brand marketing and activation, Jimmy John’s
Louer brings almost 17 years of experience in “brand strategy, digital, marketing, product development, and operations” to his new role at Jamba, the company said in a press release Wednesday. In his new role, he will be responsible for “the strategic direction, marketing, operations, and collaboration within the Focus Brands organization to drive financial and franchise success,” the company said.
Louer has spent his entire career in various marketing positions at Jimmy John’s, beginning with field marketing and working his way up to director of advertising co-ops and PR and then director of consumer engagement, according to his LinkedIn profile.
After Inspire acquired Jimmy John’s in 2019, Louer was promoted to VP of brand marketing and activations for Jimmy John’s. In that position, he was responsible for “repositioning and campaign development for Jimmy John’s,” the company said. He also worked on strategic development and the implementation of consumer-facing touch points, and helped with product innovation.
“He has been a key contributor to [Jimmy John’s] successes and is known for building high-performing teams that drive consumer action,” Focus Brands said in a statement.
Louer joins Focus Brands as the company hones its dual-branded strategy as part of its growth. Within the past few years, the company has opened a handful of Auntie Anne’s/Jamba drive-thru locations. It began the year with plans to open over 50 dual- or tri-branded locations.
