Morgan Stanley lets clients gain access to research, reports via app

Morgan Stanley is letting institutional clients access investment research and view reports on more than 2,600 stocks via mobile devices.

Using the Morgan Stanley Research application, clients can access reports on fixed income markets, currencies and economics. The iPad and iPhone application is available for free download in the App Store.

?Morgan Stanley research analysis and reports are uniquely designed to deliver answers to critical questions facing investors,? Sandra Hernandez, spokeswoman for Morgan Stanley, New York.

?The strategy behind this, is to make the research more broadly available,? she said.

Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.

Financially mobile
To access the application, clients should have a valid Client Link account.

Consumers who do not have an account can contact their sales representatives.

Institutional clients can filter research reports based on the investment profiles.

Clients can also check the latest research from analysts, read investment debates affecting a stock or asset, view risk reward scenarios for the key value drivers and filter content based on their investment profile.

Stanley Morgan is looking at extending to other platforms, such as Android soon.
