GSMA announces winners of 2009 Global Mobile Awards
The GSMA yesterday announced winners of the 14th Annual Global Mobile Awards in Barcelona, Spain, during the Mobile World Congress show.
More than 450 entries representing Internet, finance, music, advertising, television, mobile and gaming companies were submitted to the London-based GSMA, the world's leading trade association for wireless carriers.
Black Eyed Peas front man will.i.am performed his latest single last night at a gala dinner for the awards ceremony at Barcelona's National Palace. He was followed by Grammy-winning Jazz musician Jamie Cullum. Comedian Michael McIntyre hosted the event.
